Purchase Order - Lock

Dear All.

Please help me in the following Situation.

In the absence of locking a Purchase Order once it is printed or approved, there exists a possibility of making changes to the Purchase Order in SAP (from some other users). But this should not happen. Once the PO is printed, I (one person who is the owner of the module) need to lock the PO. (ie Nobody can change the PO thereafter ). I need to create the mechanism for unlocking also.

Please help me to lock and unlock the PO when required.

Hi,

i think you can use the BADI:

ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST with method OPEN and parameter CH_DISPLAY_ONLY

Look in the Documentation in IMG.

But I am using SAP4.6C. There is nosuch BADI with name

ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST(4.7C). Could you please give me the equivilant BADI in 4.6C?

Or some other technique?
