SSTRING truncating string value

Hello,

I have a data element 'DTSCOMPKEY' defined over a pre-defined type 'SSTRING' with length 255.

My problem is this:

DATA lv_comp_dtscompkey TYPE dtscompkey.

DATA lv_comp_string TYPE sstring.

lv_comp_dtscompkey = 'Dispatcher Node 17077100 of J11 on sgpss059vm11'.

lv_comp_string = lv_comp_dtscompkey.

The value of lv_comp_string returns 'Dispatcher Node 1707', instead of the whole string, although the length is less than 255!!!

Please help us out here. If we dont find a solution, we would need to change all code that uses sstring, to start using DTSCOMPKEY.

If you check Data Element: SSTRING, it is defined of domain SYCHAR20 which is of length 20.
