Applying SAP Notes using SNOTE

Hi,

I have question regarding transaction SNOTE.

I am applying one note in my development system. This SAP note has some manual steps, like create function module in the given function group with the given short text.

If I follow the manual steps mentioned in the note, it ask for Access key while saving the changes.

How to work on the manual steps mentioned in SAP notes?

Thats fine. for manual steps you would need the Object keys.

So that means I should register the object or just apply the SAP note directly and it then creates the OBJECT in the system?

Hello Yogia,

It doesn't make any difference. Do it as the Note has Mentioned. If system ask for the access key then you can contact your BASIS people.

They will generate a Key for you.

You shoudkl get the object keys, perform the manual steps, and then run SNOTE to apply the code automatically

If there are any manual steps the notes will provide you with the steps to manually correct it.
