we have recently installed a DEV server. how to create a role from SAP menu for FI,MM consultants

It depends on what kind of role you want to create, i.e general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable etc..as per your need.

Goto pfcg

Give role name -e.g ZTest123

Click on menu tab. On the right you will find "Copy Menus" From there click on "From SAP Menu"

Now, Click on search

Give the term you want to search and in display hits section , select hit list.

Select the necessary from the list you get and create the role.

You may need to make certain changes in the role as per the needs of your organization!

Hi Hemant,

GO TO PFCG,

Enter name of the ROLE to be created,

Click on Create,

Go to the Menu tab,

Choose the option 'From the SAP Menu' in the exreme right of the Menu tab,this will open up the SAP menus,

Expand Logistics and under it you would find 'Materials management', select it

Expand Accounting and under it you would find 'Financial Accounting', select it

Click on the transfer option.The menus would get imported into the role.

Save the role, and go to the authorization tab to maintain the values.After the values have been maintained, save the role and generate it.
