Hi all,

I have one doubt:

Through rfc we are posting idoc from sapr/3 to PI.

Now what is advantage of taking idoc instead of rfc??

Hi , RFC - Remote function call its make other system to send or receive data to SAP. IDOC is the cointainer it holds your data with predefined format which can be understand any SAP system. You can process SAP function using JAVA or VB using RFC by calling remote enabled function modules.
