User Exit for Tcode ME21n

Hi All,

In the transaction ME21n , if wrong value is entered in purchase org field then an error message should be displayed and the cursor should point to the purchase org field. So for this modification which user exit should be used.

No need of any Exit to implement for same.Checks on PO ORG are already applied by SAP.

i gave wrong input to PO ORG and enter i got this message:

Purchasing organization ADVF not defined (please check your input)

did you enter any wrong value in purchase org field any time in ME21n screen.

Hi Sridhar,

If you want to display any error message or check any condition before the PO save use the enhancement

MM06E005 Customer fields in purchasing document.

In this enhancement use the function module exit EXIT_SAPMM06E_012.

You will be having an include ZXM06U43 just double click on the include and you can insert the code in the include.

Use if statements to check the condition and if the condition is not satisfied dispaly an error message like.

if I_EKKO-EKORG NE '....'

MESSAGE ...................

ENDIF.

If you want to display an pop up you can use the function module POPUP_TO_CONFIRM.
