      <title>regarding the data types</title>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;hi friends,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt; i am using claf_classification_of_objects  function module to get the properties of a  material batch. it generates the weight n width of the material of a particular batch ..problem i need to use the both the fields in further  mathematical caluculations but the  FM is generating them as char(30) type..is there any wat that i can  convert them to   nukmeric type&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;                                  thanks&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;                                     urmila&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
