hi friends .

i have to prepare a report for materials age. could any one help me what fields i require and from which table i can retrieve the data?

Hi this is a tricky program, and very long development.

basically you're program should compute on first in first out basis in calculating the age of materials on company code level. lets say you have a ztable that store materials, company code, plant, storage location, qty, date, transaction. bare in mind that whatever transaction made by user lets say. goods issue to prod you dont have to compute the age of materials, transfer posting to other plant or storage loc you should compute age base on origin of the material. good received GR start of counting of age. you'll get this info in MSEG table, and dont forget to consider the reversal of each transaction.. mseg-VFDAT----Shelf Life Expiration or Best-Before Date .

take delivery date for the material from lips table

material age = mseg-VFDAT - delivery date.

may be you can use MC.9 standard report.

No Need of any customized report.

how can i check material age in mc.9 transaction?

can you tell me the parameters that are used to check age of material?
