hi all,

this is partha.

i am doing with Idoc message type hrmd_a06.

one important thing is here in this how to determine the personnel area(werks).

how the cost center and profit center related to determine the personnel area..

do functional consultant will configuring the cost center and profit center to determine the personnel area.

for example we see transaction pa40 in that how personeel area is configured . when we enter the employee number.

my problem is to assign personnelarea to each employee when data is transfered from XI system to SAP system the interface used is IDoc.

Hi Partha,

Personnel Area is defaulted via Features or PA-PD Integration depending on the Org Unit to which the Employee's Position is tied to. I think you may not need to populate it while transferring data.

Hi,

As Personnel Area to each employee is assigned based on the Org unit you can assign the Personnel area in XI Integration Repository Message mapping based on the Org Unit or by doing a Look up. And then the Personnel Area value can be sent to the Receiver IDoc interface.

For this you will require atleast the Org Unit related to the Employee in the incoming data.
