Amount getting changed to month automatically while downloading

Hi,

While i am downloading data to Excel sheet (For customer HU) some of the amount values are automatically getting changed to month and year. Eg : 54.07 getting changed to July 54. This seems a normal excel property. If we put 04-2008 in English US version of excel this will automatically get changed to Apr-08. Kindly let me know is there any way to overcome this issue by using some ABAP techniq or changing some settings in the Excel sheet.

In the excel sheet right click on the tab and then select Format cells and then select category as General.

Hi Please enter convert_* in se37 and press f4 to check available FM which can help in this regard in the program.

Hi,

Can you check once in the program where the amount field is getting populated. Is there any conversion on that filed to date.

some where depends on conditon it is getting converting to date format.

Hi Jijeesh,

It is not a program probelm.As VIshwa said it is excel sheet problem.To solve this goto mneubar Format->Cells->There in number tab set that as General.
