Error when sending excel as email attachment

Hi All,

I am sending excel document as email attachment through F.M. SO_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1. I am getting the attachment but when i open it, it is giving error "The file is not in recognizable format....."

Please let me know how can i solve this problem.

Hi Surinder,

Thanks for the link but the problem mentioned in the above link is different from the one I am facing.

I am getting the complete data but the only thing is whnever i open that file it gives the msg "The file is not in recognizable format..." and whn i click 'OK' I could see the data in it.

Could u pls tell how can we get rid of that error?

Hi Amit,

The file is already created just that I get error whenever i open the excel file.

How to get rid of that msg...any idea???
