Error while distributing model view in BD64

Hi ,

I am trying to transfer data from one client to other client using ALE. I am getting this error when i distribute model view in BD64 . Error is 'Model view ZCREMAS has not been updated

Rreason: Distribution model is currently being processed.'

Partner profiles are generated successfully .

In transaction we02 ( Display idoc) , Status records give Status code : 29 ( Error in Ale service ).

Pls let me know what could be reason of this error.

Hi Amitabh,

while creating the Logical systems in SCC4 or sale.

ALG800 ---800 client

ALG810 --810 client

asssign to 800 and 810 client accordingly.

create RFC destination in SM59

use the same logical systems name while creating the RFC Destination in 800 and 810 clients

1) log on to 800 and create RFC destination as ALG810~~> logon details of 810~~> remote test--> ok

1) log on ot 810 client and create RFC destination as AL800-->

log on details of 800 client--> remote test --> ok

log on to 800 client and create CDM in BD64--->

model view name : ymodel

sender : ALG800

reciever: ALG810

Message type : MATMAS

model view name : ymodel

sender : ALG810

reciever: ALG800

Message type : MATMAS

Goto~~-> environment~~-> generate partner profile.....

ports are created.by providing the logical system as ALG810

select the model view which you had created

Edit---->distribute

log on to client 810---> BD64

the model view which you had created in the 800 will be distributed in 810 client.

select the YMODEL

Environment~~-> Generate Partner porofile~~> by providing the logical system as ALG800

these were the settings whcih need to be maintained.

in you case the proble was the name which you had used was different both logical system name and the RFC destination name.

If you are going to create the prots and partner profiles from BD64~~> environment~~>generate partner profiles.

( you have to maintain the same name as Logical system and RFC destination are same)

th other way for creating the partner profile is WE20..where we can give the any name no need of similar name aas logcal sys tem ane and RFC name.

MM01 --> create material

BD10--> execute

we02--> view the idoc.

log on to 810

Run BD11--> get the material

we02--> idoc dispaly with erros

( because the FM is not assigned)

Goto we19~~> give the recent idoc number-> execute~~>

IDOC--> test Inbound Idoc ~~> test Inbound Function module~~>

and provide the Function module IDOC_INPUT_MATMAS01

execute

go and check the WE05 for that Idoc... successfully executed.
