search help?

i have assigned predefined search help to the ztable and now i want to delete it?

anyone tel me how to delete search help only.

I think you will need to de-associate the search help with the table first via SE11 (entry/help tab), and then you should be able to delete the search help separately?

Hi,

Go to table change mode and select the field whicha you assinged the search help and click on Entry help/Checktabstrip , there you can can find Srch Help coulumn and delete the serach help given.

Hi,

First go to SE11.

Open table in change mode.

Click on Entry help/Check tab, there you will find Srch Help.

Select that field whose search help u want to delete.

And then click on Search Help Tab.

Here One window will open & u can see delete button there.

Select that search help & delete.

Now u will find search help will not come!!!

Hi deepika,

To delete search help only u open ur ztable in se11 in change mode, now click entry help/check tab

there first select the field for which u wanna delete the srch help, then click srch help tab , then ur srch help name will appear in a new window , there in bottom of that window u will see a dustbin sign beside copy tab i.e. delete. now press that ,save and activate ur ztable.

after doin this ur srch help from that field will be deleted.

hi,

let me tell you step -by-step procedure of doing so:

just open se11==>

put the search help name after ticking search help option==>

click on change===>

then double click on table name in selection method ==>

after that select that field on which u want to remove search help==>

then press search help tab on upper side ===>

after that press delete button in botton side==>

search help deleted

hi,

go to the transaction se11 then type your search help in search help field and the use menu pathe for delete it.

Very simple. Search Help is allways going on the data element.

1. Open Database

2. Find the field which is "connected" with search help.

3. Double click on the Data Element of this field.

4. then appears the screen "Maintain Data Element"

5. Finally on the Tab "Further Characteristics" is your Search Help installed.

You just have to deleted the Name and the Parameters.

For all this you have to open the DB in change mode with SE11.
