Password resetting.

Hi Friends,

I have a requirement in my project to reset the user password to 'initpass'. This will be used in the case, when user forgets his current password. In this case, the user have to answer few security questions. If the user has answered correctly, it will allow him to reset.

But the old password will not be supplied.

Could you please let me know whether there is any function module or BAPI's which allow me to perform this.

Kindly share your ideas upon this.

use BAPI_USER_CHANGE BAPI

use ME_USER_CHANGE_PASSWORD BAPI

Initially check answers of user. If answers are valid, call FM/BAPI to reset the password.
