Previewing a Spool File from a Z program

I have a request for users to see a list of their spool files and to be able select a spool and convert it to a PDF and download to it to a PC file. I am able to convert the selected spool to a PDF using a call to program RSTXPDFT4 and this works fine. However, they also want to be able to preview the spool prior to the convert (similar to the display contents (F6) option of SP01). Trying to find a function module to call that will display the contents of the spool file (regardless of type) based on passing it the spool ID number. Any help would be appreciated.

use the function

RSPO_RID_SPOOLREQ_DISP

for this pass the spool number in the table parameter. and see.

simply write a call transaction for SP01 passing spool number.
