Hey all,

Is there anyway to update a record in table HRP1001 through ABAP to enable/disable a relationship temporarily? I tried using the FM RH_UPDATE_INFTY_1001_EXT, but it doesn't allow me to make changes to the dates or istat.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Suman

Of course you cannot update the fields istar and date filed because they are key fields. What sense does it make to disable a relationship temporarily?

You could set the field PROZT - Percentage to 0....

Or ....

Delete the relationship and created a new planning status ... TD - Temporarily disable!

This would mean the relationship will not be displayed... and still existing in another planning status

Strange requirement. You can copy the realtionship to another plan variant and delete the original. Or you use an own table.

To update any key of the table HRP1001, firstly collect the record which you want to update in one internal table and then delete it from HRP1001 using FM RH_DELETE_INFTY_1001_EXT and create the new entry in the table by changing required key fields value of the internal table record using FM RH_INSERT_INFTY_1001_EXT.

Reward if useful.

Pankaj P

SAP ABAP CONSULTANT
