Text description for customer attribute

I have activated customer attribute 9 in my customer master. KNA1-KATR9. Table TVK9 and TVK9T were created. Now I want to change the description of field KATR9. Currently its showing attribute9 against this. I want to change this description.

Go to the Customizing (IMG) path : Logistics - General, Business Partner, Customers, Control, Define Attributes. Click on the Document icon on the left,

Note                                                                                
To define the description for the attribute "mnemonically", you must make relevant changes in the Data Dictionary. This "mnemonic" description is then displayed when you maintain the attribute in the customer master record.

you will need a key for this.

Hi,

try sm30 with table V_TVK9. You can use change or customizing button.

Hi,

I understood you question in a different way !

If you want the description of field KATR9 to be changed from within the transaction, you may change it from data element KATR9 using either SE11, either the translation tool SE63
