Table Entry Issue

Hi ,

In detail view of a table when I tryto insert a new detail record by using button "new Entry " it is not allowed to create and save more than 1 at a time.

While if we use copy as functionality of detail view it is allowed.

Can u pls let me know what may be the reason??

Check wheather you have created a table maintainence genrator for your table.

Hi,

Check the Table Maintainance Generator and make sure that You have marked the Maintenance type as

One step.

If you mark it two step you wont be able to enter more than one entries at a time.

Check that the Table Maintenance is also Allowed.

hi,

go to se11 and write the name of table in which u have to make entry...

and go to utilites tab >>> table maintenance genrator

give there maintenance type-- one step.

by doing this u can make multiple entries

Hi raghav,

This proble is because u have not created table maintenance generator. so its better to create a TMG for ur ztable.

Follow below procedure :

Go to SE11, give the table name and click on change. Then Go to utilities--> Table

maintenance generator.

In the table maintenance generator screen, we should give Authorization Group,

Function Group name (Function Group name can be same as table name),

Maintenance type can be one step or two step, usually we will create with one

step. we should give maintenance screen number. After clicking on create button,

a table maintenance generator will be created.

To check it go to SM30 . In SM30, we find display, Maintain options.

We can view the table contents by choosing Display and we can create table

entries by choosing Maintain.

After doing this u will be able to enter multiple data in ur table.
