Hi experts,

How can I know the parameter ID of the I/A log entry field in the field selection screen of transaction CBIH82? Thanks in advance.

I don't see one. Are you sure one exists?

You can go to screen 1010 of program SAPLCBIH_IA00 and dblclick on the fld. I don't see any PARAMETER for this field either.

It seems that the field I/A log entry does not have a parameter ID.

This is because... I have a requirement where I call transaction CBIH82 then I click on create new I/A log, when I click the save button I have a custom pop up ALV grid displaying duplicate logs, I have the option to select and edit an existing I/A log entry in the custom pop up ALV grid. If I click the edit button, the requirement is to return to the initial front end screen of CBIH82 with the selected I/A log from the custom pop up ALV grid and proceed to the hit list. The problem here is how can I pass back the selected I/A log?

The easiest way is just to press F1 over the field and look at the technical information.

There is no parameter ID in the F1 of the field...
