Need function modules regarding alerts

Hello ,

in ALERT inbox, let us say there are 10 alerts. The user has been read only 4 alerts. He hasn't read remaining 6 alerts. At end of day, i have to send an email to the user saying that there are 6 unread alerts in the alert inbox.

i guess we can acheive this functionality by using Func. Module.

Pointers regarding this highly appreciated.

i dont think there is any fm for that
