MS Access make a Remote Function call to SAP

I am doing the technical specs on a system where we need to have a MS Access data base make a call to a SAP functional module that will be Remote Function call enabled.

I know how to create the SAP function module that is Remote Function call enabled.

We need to know how MS Access make the call to that Remote Function call enabled function module and where could we find this information.

We also need to know how does the SAP system return this information to MS Access.

There will be parameters and possibly some tables to import/export (do not believe ther will be any tables to import).

Hi Scott,

Please refer to the following file in SDN "How to connect to SAP R3 and call BAPI from MS Excel VBA.pdf" it gives a good example of making a VBA call to a SAP FM.

The same code for Excel with minor modification (Removal of Excel parts) should also work for MS Access.

You will need to have the SAPrfc libraries loaded onto the PC's that are making the call to SAP.
