Triggering Mail

Hi,

We have developed a custom program, which will pick delivery details from relevant database tables with respect to the vendors supplied in the selection screen.

When the program is executed in the background, the mail is not getting triggered only for particular 3 vendors. For each vendor, distribution list is maintained. When debugging the program, there was no problem in picking the distribution list. But when executed in background, the mail is not being triggered. What could be the problem? Please help me out.

Hi,

Question is not clear. Check the t code SOST for mail status. Mail not triggering in the sense is it failing or .... what is exact problem.

Sudheer,

Mail is getting triggered properly for all the vendors, except for the 3 vendors maintained in Production system.

In SOST also, we have checked the reason. But no Clue.

hi.check if u r mail in sost is in queue.

if not,then kindly explain me in detail as to what exactly is happening.

I think u want to mail a report to the customer on daily basis.

am i rite?and if u schedule the same the mail does not trigger?

do these vendors have a corresponding email address in vendor master?

Ok, You are facing problem when you ran it in background. So you just Debug the Job. select the job and type JDBG it takes u to Debug mode.

Rahul,

We have to trigger mail on weekly basis.

The mail is not in a Queue. When i executed the program in foreground, i received the mail. But the same when i do it in the background, I am not receiving the mail. What could be the problem?

e-mail IDs are maintained properly in that distribution list.

I cannot debug the job, as I will not have authorization to debug it, because, the JOB is being executed by the user.

Is there anyother way?
