Hi Thomas,

If I add a language key as primary key in the table, will the translator know this table need to be translated and find the related information?

Not sure which translator you are referring to, but adding a language key field with a data element->domain of type LANG should make such tool "know" that we're dealing with translatable entries here.

Hi Blake Le,

U can call it as TEXT TABLE ...

U need to add one Field in Your table which stores Language Key...(field with data type LANG).

eg.

SPRAS ==> Data Element

Table ==> TSTCT

Also hv a look on below Thread...

Not sure but As I think User needs to enter the Records for different different Languages in this tables...

If there are only key and text fields,add a language key, else create a text table with only client, language, key fields and the text(s) and remove the text(s) from the data table, declare this new table as a text table using foreign keys relationship with the first table.

The table text will become translatable.
