    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt; If you go by standards then SD/ MM are generally IDOC based,that is the transactional data is distributed using Message control ( IDOC's) . XI will be involved when you setup ALE/EDI in SAP.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;For financial data as is the case with you ,Files are the prefered medium.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thnx!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Harry&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
