FB01 custom validation on screen fields - Reference Key 3 (XREF3)

Hi All,

I have added a custom validation using BTE..in FB01 transaction for the field Reference Key 3 field..

Everthing is working fine, valdiation is getting triggered...

But if i raise an error message in validation, all the fields on the screen are greyed out...except some 4 fields for next line item posting(posting key, comp code, account etc) ...because the BTE is triggered in the below module...(check screen 332 of the prg : SAPMF05A)

Now since i have added the custom validation, the field reference key 3 should be enabled to make changes to the invalid value..

Could you help in making the field enabled after the errror message...?

Hi ,

what kind of validation u wanna do it in FB01 ? have u seen Tcode GGB0 for all kinds of validations ? u can make use of this , but it depends upon kind of the validations.
