update teh internal table from the grid data

Hi abap gurus,

I am trying to use the class cl_gui_alv_grid . Im that class there is one method called SAVE_DATA . This is a protected method . SoI am not able to use that .

My queries are :

1> How to use a protected method from a class ?

2> Is there any other way to update the output internal table according to the changes done in the grid ?

The table contents are automatically updated when you use the public method check_changed_data. (This actually calls the SAVE_DATA method). So no need to use the protected method directly. A protected method can only be used within the class, or one of its subclasses.

CHECK_CHANGED_DATA also does the FLUSH for you as well.
