SAP Table updation

Hi ABAP Friends,

I have requirement where i need to Update SAP taable TKEBWTS which has one Check box field which i would like to check.. can any one will help with the ABAP code to update the checkbox field for the above table..

Note : manually we cannot update because table maintenance is not allowed for this table hence we need to do it with code..

Please help me as i donot have any ABAPer with me..

Hi!

Use SE16N transaction.

Enter the table name

Enter the &SAP_EDIT text into the transaction field, so the maintain entries checkbox is checked now.

Run and modify the entires.

manually check that field and goto utilities->database utility->

adjust database table and active .

Hi,

You are updating the standard SAP table is not a standard producture. before update the SAP table you should think about this will affect any transaction or application etc..

Try the below code for your requirement.

1. update TKEBWTS set <checkbox_field>= 'X'

where ISOURCE = <ISOURCE>value

and REQUNR = <REQUNR>value

and REQUSUBNR = <REQUSUBNR>value.

2. update TKEBWTS from <wa_TKEBWTS>. - Single

3. update TKEBWTS from table it_TKEBWTS. for multiple values

4. Modify TKEBWTS from <wa_TKEBWTS>. for single record

5. modify TKEBWTS from table <it_TKEBWTS>. - for Multiple

Hi,

As I observed, table TKEBWTS is not allowing to maintain the values through SE16 or SM30 transaction.

If that is not possible, other way of updating the table values can be done programatically using UPDATE statement.

UPDATE TKEBWTS

SET < chekc box field name> = 'X'

WHERE <where clause for which the check box need to be checked> .

Hi.. Anjali....

Here ZTABLE is having two fields on of them is check box....

>data: itab like ztable occurs 0 with header line.

>itab-f1 = 'abcd'.

>itab-checkbox = 'X'.

>append itab.

>modify ztable from itab.

With this code ZTABLE is updated with new entry...

>data: itab like ztable occurs 0 with header line.

>select * from ztablen into corresponding fields of table itab.

>loop at itab.

>itab-checkbox = 'X'.

>endloop.

>modify ztable from itab.

with this code every entry is updated with check as ON.
