CUSTOM TABLE maintenance - in SPRO

Hi all,

I've created a custom table in SE11.

I need to add it as an IMG activity so it can be maintained using transaction SPRO.

I got so far as to using transaction SIMGH and clicking on 'Add activity as subnode' for a specific IMG structure.

And this is where I've got stuck as Im not sure how to fill in the corresponding selection screen.

Can somebody with experience in this area please provide some assistance.

Hi Friend,

Fill the selection screen like:

ID = Table name

Name = Table description

Document Name = Table name

Press u201CMaint Objectsu201D tab

ID = Table name

Name = Table description

Customising Object = Table name

Object Type = u2018Su2019

Transaction = u2018SM30u2019

Press Save.

Hi krish,

Thanks a lot for your answer. Actually I happenned to figure this out by myself after a lot of exploring, but nevertheless i'm grateful for your help.

Unfortunately i had posted another query before this which is yet to receive a response.

The custom table in question has fields ( say fields a,b,c) which will initially be grayed out in the maintenance screen and will be enabled for only a particular value 'X' in field x.

Do you know if this can be achieved and if so how?

Hi Friend,

You can do that.

Go to SE54, enter table name. Enviroments -> Events. Click on New Entries.

Choose event 18 and give your subroutine name and follow the steps. In that subroutine you can write the code.
