print functionality

Hi all,

we have 2 user ids, to which i had provided the MIGO transaction code .

One user is having all sap MM Transactions ,

seconde user is having very few Transactions.

The problem is for First user, who is having all MM tcodes,

He is able to print the doc from MIGO.

The second user is not able to print.

I had check through ST01 and SU53. there were no authorization problems.

any suggestions.

Just check the default printer in SU01 for these users.

thanks for the response.

I had already checked it, it is fine.

the user is able to print from other Tcodes,

he is having problem with MIGO only.

Hi Kavitha,

Can you check from SP01 TCode to check the Error log and also provide me the status which shows in that for the user who is unable to Print from MIGO?

Because, some times the issue could be with settings as well.

Hi Kavita,

You could try giving access for the activty "04" for the second user for the following objects -

M_MSEG_WMB

M_MSEG_WWA

M_MSEG_WWE

M_MSEG_WWF

You will need to change the object relevant for the document type accessed in MIGO (ie. Purchase order etc)

Hi Kavitha ,

goto SU01,

type the username and click change ....now goto

the Tabstrip --> profiles and then in Simple profiles

select "S_ADMI_SPO_T Spool: Device type administration"

then assign this to user.save .

You will not have any prob with Any TCODES and user can

print the Docs very well.

Hi,

the user is able to print from other Tcode, the problem is with

MIGO only.

even i had tried with the M_MSEG auth obj but still not

working. unable to find the solution.

Hi Kavitha

Do as follows First of all create a role ..Add Auth object

S_SPO_DEV to it.Maintain value for LP01 for it in Org.levels.

assign role to the users who is facing the problem ..save ,

Logout and Login .and check.

Another point to check ..is in Profile Parameter

auth/check_value_write_on=0.This will be solve your error.

hi kavitha,,,

normally when a user gives a print option a spool request number is generated in sp01 tcode and when this spool request is given in sp02 tcode then only the person can see the document which he has give for the print.

i think the same problem is occuring with the user .

tell the user to give the generated spool request from sp01 and paste it in sp02 and try to print.

i hope the problem will be solved.

coz the excat problem araised with me.
