ALE Segment -problem ....

Hi,

I have ALE Question; we have made extension in some of the message types and include some segments.

In previous testing, it was working fine, as I have distributed my ALE model to other system and I have check filters.

They received the Idocs and they confirmed it was ok.

Now what happen we made a change in our logical system name and I have created all new distribution model according to same old settings except I ask other receiving system to maintain the name of our new logical system.

I have created the distribution model and filter and finally distribute to receiving system and I got message, Distribution model has been created successfully.

Now I went We 20, we are introducing Message type HRMD_A and basic message HRMD_A04 and we made extension as Zrmd04.

I check ZRMD04 and it is release and contains infotypes under parent. Segment (E1PITYP) and I have segment type Z1p302…

Now when I am sending IDOC to receiving system, they are not getting this Z1P302 every time, I cross check filters are set and when I also saw in BD87, I am also not able to see this segment.

What could be the problem?

Please give your input/suggestions…

The segment Z1p302 must exist in the destination system. Trying doing that.Hope this might help you.

You mean to say , I ask them to check "Z1P302" segment in WE31 under ZRMD(which message type I extend, this shuold be in receving system too Right?).... If that does not exist then they might need to create them ....

Why I am not able to see this segment when I open Idoc in Bd*& , though , I have this segment(Z1P302) in my system?

But My another question is

Are you sure you have data for that segment? You will see a segment only if there is data for it, otherwise you will not see it.

That is infact a good answer , I dont know because client is making a change in HR , so let me ask him that those employees` have data for IT0302 , if they dont have data they won`t able to see right ?

That`s why they are getting and error Staus 51 " IDOC is inconsistant"?
