Hi everybody,

when you launch the transaction CL30N, you can display a list of objects and the value of their characteristics;

unfortunately if you create a characteristic group ( "Value Assignment" --> "Characteristic Grouping" ---> "Create")

and you divide the characteristics in two or more groups, when another user launches CL30N, he finds your groups

and the division you made.

Is there a way to avoid this?

Hi G R,

Quite some time back In our case such tasks were taken up by the security team so I dont have the detail of the build they did. As far as I have seen You can limit access to organizationnal unit for all transactions withthe profile generator PFCG transaction.

Cheers

Franc

Hi Franc,

yes you are right, authorizations is the right way to solve the problem. In fact, by debugging I found that if the user doesn't have the authorization object C_CACL_DSG, he can't execute the "characteristic grouping" function ("Value assignment"<DEL>>"Characteristic grouping"</DEL>>"Create" or "Value assignment"<DEL>>"Characteristic grouping"</DEL>> "Display/Change").

This solves my problem.

Thank you very much.

G R
