RV_MESSAGE_UPDATE

Hi,

I am trying to create a delivery & I am getting a message Delivery xxxxx has saved. when I go to vl02 or vl03 & when I pass the delivery number I am encountering a message "Delivery xxxxx does not exists'.

I am also getting a workflow message with Update was Terminated with following info

Transaction.. VL01N

Update key... 486470900A6F435DE1000000AC16A31D

Generated.... 21.07.2008, 14:41:30

Completed.... 21.07.2008, 14:41:34

Error Info... MC 601: Object requested is currently locked by user VHI

When I go to SM13 & check I found with following message.

RV_MESSAGE_UPDATE V1 Error.

Even I have checked the lock entries, screen is empty.

Please can anyone give me suggestions to proceed further.

Hi,

Normally any master data transaction takes some time to commit to the database.

Wait for few seconds and then again open the delivery.

If you are doing it through program, use "Wait up to 5 seconds" statement and try opening.

Hi,

Even I have checked after one hour, I could not find my delivery.

When I have checked Tcode SM13, I noticed Update terminations.

Please advise

It is not related to workflow.

When ever there is an update termination you will get a Express message

Now We will come to your problem

RV_MESSAGE_UPDATE

Some time back Did you add any new Output type or Changed any Output type.

Including any Script or Smartform into the output type.

If so...

There is some problem with the Driver program, therer it is giving the error.

Go to SM13 and check the exact code which caused the Update termination.

You can see the place where you got the update termination.

It should be the Driver Program for the Smartform/Script.

I did checked the Update termination Sm13, I didnot find any Script or Form driver program

Hi,

This could be a system bug, so you should check the SAP Notes for corrections. You can search with the error "MC 601" with component LE-SHP*.

A good example is the note 1055717. See if that meets your needs.

Can you Go to SM13

you choose your update termination, now click on the Function

where you got the termination.

Now you will see a popup. in that you see some thing like this..

Function Module MCV_STATISTICS_UPD_V1_ORDER

Status Update was terminated

Report LMCS0U32 "Program

Row 17 "Line number

Just check the report and go to line where it caused.

In my case I am not getting any report name & row no is diaplayed. here is what I am getting in when I double click on Function

You keep Break point and Do Update Debugging During save it will come to the Function

RV_MESSAGE_UPDATE

and check exact cause.

Hi Vijay,

I met this issue with exactly what you said.

It said 'Elemetn XXX window MAIN is not defined in form XXXX'. But after check the form, we found there has the element.

After we re-transport the form and print program, there still have the message.

Do you have any idea on this?
