I think we can assign the workflow to material creation and send some mail to concern person. If you are liking that kind of thing then go for workflow. But I am not sure whether you can distinguish different views or not. Or you can try for some user exit/ BADi after saving the material(if exists) what fnality you want.

Hi,

I have a query, where in using some process I am pushing only "BASIC DATA" and "GENERAL PLANT DATA" for a particular material using the BAPI "BAPI_MATERIAL_SAVEDATA", but now my problem is when I am trying to create a Manufacturing BOM in SAP r/3 it does not allow as views like costing, accounting, MRP etc are not maintained. How do I get a confirmation that all the views for that particular material has been created before creating MBOM.

Let me know any bapi which can provide a response as when the respective views are created in SAP R/3.

Regards,

Nithiyanandam

You can check in MARA-PSTAT to know what are all views are created . You have to press F1 for knowing the code for each view.

like E --> purchase view.

But there can any process which can confirm that now the "purchase view for this material is created" once it is done similarly for all other views.

Regards,

Nithiyanandam
