Problems when mitigating a user or mitigating a risk from CUP

Hi,

When I am creating a mitigated user that is I am assigning a user ID to a mitigation control, I get an error Sending failed No valid SAP sender address

Also if I create a mitigation control and assign in in CUP, I can not approve the request. The mitigation control gets assigned but I get an error "Mitigation control XXX001 could not be saved for user XXXXXX - Exception from the service : Mitigation record doesn't exist".

Now I am not able to approve the request in CUP, neither am I able to add the user to mitigation control in CC.

Can any one please help me on this!

Hello Chinmaya,

Please check the following:

1. In RAR, if you have the correct and valid owner defined for the mitigation control and his email address is correctly maintained.

2. In RAR, you have the configuration to send the notification to control owner when the mitigation control is assigned. If you have this setting set to yes, then you also need to do configuration for mail setup in Visual Admin. Kindly check this configuration in RAR -> Configuration -> Misc. Turn this one to NO and then check if you get the same error in CUP. If no error comes, then the problem is with the configuration of this mail setting.
