Hello,

Just wanted to know whether SAP has provided saplpd in any of the latest versions of SAP GUI for Java.

My requirement is to invoke a saplpd.exe from a Linux desktop. Is it possible to do so? if not is there any alternate workaround for this ?

Regards,

Yashodhan

Dear Rolf,

Thanx for the reply. Actually we have scenario like this:

1. Linux desktop running SAP GUI for Java R 2.0. On this machine a network printer is configured.

2. For SAP printing separate print server is there on the network (working on Cups)

3. We were trying to do both local and remote printing from this linux desktop, but both are not working.

At this point we attribute this to SAPlpd.exe not getting invoked.

Regards,

Yashodhan
